OUR TEAM

David Zweber is the Principal and Founder of David Charlez Designs, one of the country’s most in-demand luxury residential design firms. Under his leadership, the firm has built a nationally recognized portfolio of distinctive custom residences spanning from coast to coast and north to south, earning a reputation for creating homes that are both architecturally iconic and deeply personal to the clients who inhabit them.

David leads a highly talented team of architects and designers while remaining intimately involved in the creative direction of every project. His hands-on approach is central to the firm’s identity. From initial site strategy and early hand sketches to the development of signature architectural concepts, David continues to personally shape the ideas that define each home. His ability to listen, interpret and translate a client’s vision into architecture has become a hallmark of the David Charlez Designs experience.

The firm’s work has been recognized with numerous national architectural design honors, including multiple consecutive highly coveted Grand ARDA Awards from the American Residential Design Awards. In 2025, David Charlez Designs received the competition’s highest distinction, the national Best-in-Show Award—recognizing the firm among the very best in residential design.

David founded David Charlez Designs around the belief that exceptional homes should be entirely original—created specifically for the client, the property and the way they aspire to live. That philosophy continues to guide both his work and the firm today.
